In view of school’s positive contributions to promoting economic and cultural exchanges between China and Africa, as well as the development of One Belt One Road, Secretariat of China-Africa Non-governmental Chamber of Commerce recently invited Professor Wu Zhaoyang and Professor Huang Xianming to be the special directors of the China-Africa Non-governmental Chamber of Commerce. The School of International Trade and Economics was elected as a member of China-Africa Non-governmental Chamber of Commerce.

Our school has trained a total of 660 government officials in various developing countries since 2008 under the leadership of the training center of Ministry of Commerce of PRC, Department of Commerce of Jiangxi province, and the administration department of JUFE. Our school will continue to deepen friendly relations with other developing countries. In the future, we will conduct in-depth exchanges and cooperation with Non-governmental Chambers of Commerce of China and Africa in different fields such as establishing the African Alumni Association of JUFE, participating in China-Africa cooperation in aspects of science, education, culture and health.

China-Africa Non-government Chamber of Commerce is a national, non-profit and non-government chamber of commerce organization initiated jointly by United Nations Development Program, China International Economic, Technological Exchange Center of the Ministry of Commerce and CSPGP. The Chamber of Commerce actively guides and serves Chinese enterprises to go global by creating a favorable environment for China-Africa economic and technological cooperation, establishing close contacts and building cooperation platforms for domestic and international partners.
