Enrollment Education for Overseas Postgraduates in School of International Trade and Economics was held on September 18th in the meeting room of Yizhen Building. President Assistant and Dean of Graduate School Li Liangzhi, Dean of School of International Trade and Economics Yuan Honglin, Party Secretary of School Luo Mingfang, Vice Dean Zhang Xifeng and Representative of Overseas Student Advisor Liu Yi were present. The meeting was hosted by Zhang Xifeng. It was organized successfully with thirty freshmen from developing countries.

Professor Li Liangzhi showed his warmest welcome to all overseas students and briefed them about the history, characteristics as well as the motto of our university. Additionally, Prof. Li expressed his high expectation, hoping that overseas students could not only have excellent academic performance but also contribute to cultural communications between China and their countries.

Professor Yuan Honglin introduced school’schoolucedrod, major settings and the route of internationalization, while Zhang Xifeng explained scholarship program as well as curriculum setting, paper publishing and so on. Besides, Liu Yi, the representative of overseas student advisor, hoped that overseas students could focus on their own objects, improve the skills and methods on research. He also explained the importance of the communications with tutors and how complete their studies successfully.

Cordial and friendly, overseas students prepared special gifts with national characteristics. Prof. Li accepted the gifts on behalf of the university and school.

This is the first year that the university gain approval of ., improve the skills and methods on researche largest group of overseas students. In a word, enrollment orientation is indispensable for them to adapt to the new environment. It is also of great significance in the management and cultivation of overseas students.
